Synthetic Gas (Syngas)
All organics in the waste stream are converted into an energy-dense and easily-cleaned syngas. This powerful, intermediate fuel can be used to create hydrogen and electricity, or refined to make renewable transportation fuels such as diesel and ethanol.
Any metals present in the waste stream are melted and recovered as a liquid, recycled metal which is sold for reuse.
Inorganic compounds found in the waste stream react with oxygen, melting to form an inert stone. Any toxic or hazardous compounds are trapped inside this non-leaching stone, which is often used for making cement, road base, bricks, and other construction materials.
