Executives at Davis-based green technology company Sierra Energy say they are entering the final phase of assembling their one-megawatt commercial-scale gasification plant at the Army’s Fort Hunter Liggett in Monterey County.
Sierra Energy CEO Mike Hart told the Business Journal that the Fort Hunter Liggett plant, which will use landfill waste as fuel, should be completed “in the next month or two” and is likely to be fully operational by May.
