Sierra Energy attends WasteExpo in New Orleans

Jun 6, 2017

Last month, the Sierra Energy team headed down to the ‘Big Easy’ to attend the 49th annual WasteExpo. This year’s show was a huge success for us! Besides getting our fill of beignets and charbroiled oysters, during the show hours we had a crowded booth and plenty to talk about with our first commercial system at Fort Hunter Liggett in Monterey County so close to completion.

On the second day of the show, Sierra Energy CEO Mike Hart spoke during the Technology in Recycling forum and at the Composting and Organics Recycling Conference and Food Recovery forum.

WasteExpo is the nation’s largest solid waste and recycling trade show. We were happy to attend as it is important to stay current on trends in the waste industry, to better understand the needs in waste management and to stay aware of developments in landfilling and recycling.
