Construction Underway at Fort Hunter Liggett

Construction began this Fall on the commercial demonstration facility at Fort Hunter Liggett in Monterey County, California, being built in partnership with the US Army and California Energy Commission. The concrete slab has been poured, all necessary air, water, and waste permits have been obtained, and equipment procurement has begun. Further, fabrication of the gasifier vessel has begun in Grand Rapids, Michigan under the supervision of our engineering partner, Andy J Egan.

The FastOx® system being built at Fort Hunter Liggett will assist the Department of Defense in meeting their net-zero waste and net-zero energy installation goals. The system will process approximately 10 tons of waste per day generated on base that cannot be diverted from landfills through reduction and recycling measures.
